A ticket to Summer Fusion will get you a fusion dinner by St. Louis restaurants SqWires, Harvest, Cravings, Duffs and The Scottish Arms and unlimited fusion cocktails by Purus Vodka while listening to sounds of Americana-soul from Brothers Lazaroff and a modern take on Motown from Fresh Heir.
Attendants will also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes and bid on two exclusive prize packages: A trip to Los Angeles with two VIP green room passes and two tickets to a live taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live with a two night stay at the Four Seasons in LA. The second package up for auction is a golf package for four at St. Albans, luxury golf balls and a golf bag.
The annual fundraiser is hosted by the Young Friends of Independence Center and all proceeds benefit and fund services and programs provided through Independence Center for persons with severe and persistent mental illness in the St. Louis area. Independence Center is a comprehensive, community-based rehabilitation program that also provides case management and clinical services in collaboration with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the BJC Health System.
“Events like Summer Fusion allow Independence Center to continue to provide the employment, education and housing services that our members, adults living with severe mental illnesses, need to continue to be active and contributing members of the St. Louis community,” says Lynn Huelsmann, Director of Development at Independence Center.
She says that the center works to eradicate the stigmas attached to mental illness and that they work to assist clients with living a healthy and independent life.
Summer Fusion will kick off on Sunday, August 28th, at 5:00 p.m. on the rooftop terrace of Independence Center at 4245 Forest Park Avenue in the Central West End. Tickets are $40 for general admission and $60 for VIP. VIP tickets come with a swag gift bag, preferred parking and exclusive access to two VIP lounges and a special food and cocktail menu.
