The three day festival will host a succession of events:  workshops, presentations and performances, all geared toward promoting the history and prosperity of burlesque.

Presented by local burlesque celebrity Lola Van Ella, owner and operator of VanElla Studio, the second annual “Show Me Burlesque Festival” promises to be no slow show.

There will be over eighty-nine performers showcasing their stunning bodies and body of work through vaudeville and burlesque entertainment. The festival kicks off at the amazing St. Louis City Museum on Thursday, May 12th, then will move onward to the beautiful and historic Sheldon Concert Hall on Friday, May 13th, and finally The Casa Loma Ballroom on May 14th, which will also feature fire breathers, aerialists, silent comedy and a great deal more. And each amazing evening will be chased with soirees and after parties.
