St.Louis Black Pride to Take Place August 15-17

St.Louis Black Pride 2008 will take place Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17 at a variety of venues including the Regional Arts Commission building and Kiener Plaza, according to a recent press release.

The event will begin with an opening reception at 5 p.m. August 15 at the Drury Plaza Hotel, and there will be an after-party at 11 p.m. at the Space on Vandeventer.

On August 16, there will be a series of round-table discussions and seminars in addition to a film festival at the Regional Arts Commission building.

St.Louis Black Pride 2008 will close on August 17 with the Festival in the Plaza, which will go from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Kiener Plaza.
