St. Louis HRC Gala a Success

Organizers are calling the 17th Annual St. Louis Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Dinner Gala a smashing success.

Hundreds attended the "Speak the Truth" celebration which was held Oct. 24 at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel downtown. Featured speakers included HRC president, Joe Solmonese with entertainment provided by Kim Massie.

During the evening the HRC St. Louis Individual Equality award was presented to Bill Donius and the HRC St. Louis Organization Equality Award was presented to the LGBT Center of Metropolitan St. Louis, which was accepted by the organization's Executive Director, Blue

In addition to the dinner, speeches, entertainment and dancing, a silent and live auction was held.

HRC is America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
