The LGBT Center is proud to welcome activist and civic leader, Randy Rafter, head of St. Louis Black Pride. Randy joins the board of the LGBT Center of St. Louis as the center seeks to support unity in the community. His knowledge and work in the community of St. Louis helps bridge gaps and open dialogue in a community of intersecting identities.
Randy is a born leader, seeking to improve black LGBT relations throughout the city as well as unite community leaders seeking similar ideals. Randy has been Regional Chairman for the NAACP Youth & College Division, a national trainer for the Boys & Girls Club of America and a participant in the LGBT Leadership Round-Table. Randy currently sits as chair of St. Louis Black Pride. His commitments speak to his concern for all and dedication to civil liberties and equality.
The LGBT Center of St. Louis is dedicated to providing resources and support to the LGBT community of The Gateway City and its surrounding areas through education, empowerment, outreach and community building.
